This is an incredibly important transition period for our club as the Vice President (Kath Issac) and Treasurer (Grant Robinson) are stepping down from their current positions. It is of vital importance that these positions are filled.

Please consider volunteering your time. We are a strong community-minded sporting club and we are looking for likeminded people with a desire to continue the good work of previous committees who have provided the foundations of this great club. Take part in continuing to create and provide opportunities for our kids to learn the value of teamwork and friendships whilst developing basketball skills and healthy competition.

Nomination
If you wish to nominate somebody for a position on the Committee, or you yourself would like to volunteer, then please download the Executive or General Committee nomination form attached. The relevant section must be filled in and returned to a current Committee member before Wednesday 29th July 2020 at 5pm for the nomination to be valid.

Volunteers play a critical role in ensuring the Hurricanes continue to run smoothly.
– We need people with organisational skills, team/club development skills, we also need coordinators for club events and fundraisers.
- We need plenty of enthusiasm and energy to add to our busy, thriving basketball club.
– In particular, we need representation from the younger age groups to help carry our club forward.
